Engineering Supervisor

Our client is a very successful manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Engineering Supervisor.Salary 65K + BenefitsWe are seeking an experienced electrical bias engineer with excellent management and/or supervisory experience to manage and control all maintenance and CAP-ex projects activities at a large heavy industry processing plant near Wimbledon. The Role:The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all planned and reactive maintenance activities and some CAPEX project work. Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;Maintain and develop the existing CMMSManagement and control of a small team of maintenance engineers and also external contractorsPlan, manage and control all maintenance activities and engineering projectsEffective Budget and CAPEX Project managementMonitoring, sourcing and ordering spare and replacement partsEnsure adequate staff training, recruitment and disciplinary needs are metAdopt a continuous improvement approach and help to deliver efficiency and cost savings where possibleEnsure compliance with all legal and HSE requirements Provide "Hands-on" assistance with electrical and mechanical engineering maintenance and repair of plant and machinery. Candidate: You will be a competent electrical engineer with previous engineering supervisor or manager experience.
