We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to working for a leading maintenance provider, on a commercial site in Saffron Walden, Cambridge. 

Working for a highly respected maintenance provider, you will be supervising a team of Maintenance Engineers while ensuring the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance. You''ll also keep the client and account manager updated on progress, so clear communication and a professional approach are important.

For this role the client will look at either electrically or mechanically qualified supervisors (City & Guilds or NVQ) and have a solid, multi-skilled background in building services maintenance. 

Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors
• Completing logbooks and RAMS
• Reports
• Conducting client meetings
• Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis
• Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
• Permits to work
• Raise and close jobs on PDA''s as necessary.

 
Requirements:

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations or mechanical engineering
• Ability to lead a days engineering maintenance team
• Building Services Maintenance experience
• Career driven and motivated
• Polite and personable

 
Salary and Benefits:

• £50,000 per annum
