Engineering Supervisor - Civils

he Role The Engineering Supervisor would engage in ensuring compliance with specifications, be these the manufacture''s guidelines or the project specific requirements. This would include the checking and auditing of tolerances and levels of conformity and the instigation of any correction processes.. The role will include elements of wider reporting which shall include measuring installed quantities, and identifying requirements for Early Warning notices Where projects are undertaken directly for clients, this is likely to include excavation and earthworks with a requirement to set out the works. The Successful Candidate We see the need for a self-motivated individual, able to work to specifications but also under their own initiative. Product training will be provided to add to already developed construction skills. A key factor in the role is the ability to confidently communicate across all levels of the construction process. The candidate is required to have a good level of civil engineering knowledge and shall have a SMSTS accreditation. The Package This will be a salaried position that will become permanent after the successful completion of a three month probationary period when a contract of employment will then be introduced in conjunction with our HR Advisors Peninsula Limited. As the role will be significantly site focussed, the candidate can be based at the Group Headquarters or can be home-based; to choice.
