Engineering Stores Person/ Forklift Driver

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a small and friendly engineering company located near Woodbridge, for an Engineering Storesperson / Forklift Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a hands-on approach, a keen eye for organisation, a current counterbalance licence and a driving licence to join a close-knit and supportive team in a varied role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely moving stock around the site using a forklift (Counterbalance licence essential)
• Replenishing stock
• Preparing stock for the production team
• Driving the company van for collections and deliveries (local area)
• Supporting other duties across the stores and workshop as required

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
• Full, UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a similar stores/warehouse/engineering environment preferred
• Strong work ethic and flexibility to assist in various tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a small team
