Engineering Shift Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Engineering Team Leader to join and engineering department in a modern, clean FMCG environment in Tewkesbury.LOCATION: Tewkesbury Industrial EstatePAY: 20.51- 21.51/hr + OT of x1.25 above 40 hoursHOURS: Week 1: Mon-Sat 06:00-14:00 (6 shifts), Week 2: Mon-Fri 13:45-21:45 (5 shifts) DURATION: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks What You Will Be DoingSupport the Engineering Manager in delivering departmental goalsSupervise, train and mentor Engineers, utilising team skills effectivelyCoordinate and deliver planned preventative maintenance schedulesRepair and test electrical and mechanical plant equipmentLead effective fault finding and resolution for high-speed automated machineryAssist with departmental paperwork, records and compliance requirementsMentor Apprenticeship candidates as appropriateDeputise for the Engineering Manager and cover for Engineers when requiredParticipate in equipment breakdown call-out rota What You Will BringMinimum of an electrical-based apprenticeship qualification - essentialExperience of high-speed machinery in FMCG or a similar production environment - essentialStrong electrical fault-finding skills - essentialExperience working with automated machinery - essentialPrevious supervisory or people management experience - essentialSelf-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesStrong communication skills and ability to foster good working relationshipsFlexible approach to shifts and ..... full job details .....
