Engineering Shift Supervisor

We are looking for an-Engineering Shift Supervisor-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an-Engineering Shift Supervisor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
As the-Engineering Shift Supervisor,-you will-provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The-Engineering Shift Supervisor,-will be responsible for:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of day engineers and shift engineers, ensuring all team activities align with site and company standards.
- Ensure that all equipment and services operate safely and effectively, adhering to compliance and industry best practices.
- Oversee and ensure the completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with scheduled dates, prioritising Statutory and Mandatory tasks.
- Manage Reactive Maintenance, ensuring tasks are completed within designated priority timelines.
- Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met or exceeded.
- Monitor and enforce Health & Safety practices on-site, ensuring team members follow appropriate procedures and use correct PPE and uniform.
- Ensure accurate and timely IT-based documentation and compliance recording of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Liaise with management, clients, and external stakeholders to communicate operational issues, escalations, and progress updates effectively.
- Participate in the call-out rota, providing emergency response cover as required.
- Manage and support critical environment operations, ensuring systems such as electrical installations meet reliability and compliance requirements.
To be successful for this Engineering Shift Supervisor-role you must have:
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification (or equivalent electrical qualification).
- HVAP qualification with demonstrable High Voltage (HV) experience.
- IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (highly desirable).
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
- Equivalent mechanical qualifications may be acceptable if paired with relevant experience.
- Previous experience working in a critical environment, such as a Data Centre, is highly advantageous.
- Solid experience with electrical installation and repair work, with the ability to carry out both maintenance and new installations.
- Good understanding of Statutory Compliance responsibilities.
- Strong IT literacy, particularly in using systems for maintenance logging and compliance tracking.
- Must be a UK citizen and able to undergo Security Clearance (SC) and Developed Vetting (DV).
- Flexibility to work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) and be part of the on-call rota.
