Engineering Project and Systems Manager

Our client has a permanent vacancy for a National Engineering Systems Manager, responsible for the provision of engineering advisory and control services, planning and execution of engineering projects and plant overhauls. Job roles and responsibilities: To ensure all areas of the Group off-site engineering functions are operated in a smooth, efficient and cost effective manner to meet the business needs and to ensure all legal compliances.Provide engineering services to the full off-site (and on site where required) base of customers within the Group to ensure that effective servicing of these sites is maintainedAssist in addressing engineering problems that are beyond the resource and abilities of local staffDraws to the attention of local management and/or the Board the state of engineering facilities'' in the Group Estate and recommends action where necessaryManage the supply and implementation of systems to customers (new and existing) and provide the board with all expenditure details for capital approvalProposes major + minor technical items and capital/revenue expenditure either as replacement or to provide improvement or developments and the cost implications of these proposalsManages major + minor projects to cover all aspects of regulatory approval, site approval, cost, installation, training and final sign-offEnsures cost effective overhauls of all plant in line with agreed predetermined schedulesParticipate in the recruitment and selection of engineers and the ..... full job details .....
