Engineering Operative - Permanent Ballymena An opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Operative to join a leading manufacturing company in Ballymena, carrying out technical and operational duties to support efficient production and maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality. About the role: £35,000 - £39,000 per annum Dayshifts and nightshifts and weekend availability Shift times: 7am-7pm and 7pm to 7am 42 hours a week on average Company pension scheme Permanent role What you''ll be doing in this role: Actively support and assist Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with all operational functions including, breakdowns, machine cover, problem solving, data collection and where appropriate routine machine running during absences/holidays. Set up equipment and complete changeovers as directed by Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer or Shift Lead in a timely and accurate manner and vigilantly monitor machine operation for signs of impending problems, addressing any problems promptly to minimise downtime. Perform duties to the highest standard adhering to standard operating procedures in a safe and efficient manner to maximise production and achieve targets. Promote accident prevention on your line by adhering to all safety guidelines and standards. Responsible for machine operation during periods of absence / illness and / or production requirements. Actively investigate faults ensuring root cause is determined and follow up on actions to sustain improvements. ..... full job details .....
