Engineering Officer Of Watch

Job Purpose

TEXO Recruitment are looking for an Engineering Officer of Watch (EOOW) for our external client who are a leading UK port business.Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Holds an EOOW Certificate of Competency (or equivalent) and has hands-on experience operating vessels with mechanical and hydraulic systems.Able to diagnose faults, identify practical solutions, and adapt quickly to varying systems and operational conditions.Willing and able to work across a variety of vessels, schedules, and projects, often in dynamic or challenging environments.Responsibilities

Operate as part of a small, close-knit crew, working alongside engineering trades and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective delivery of maintenance and repair tasks.Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical and hydraulic components and systems.Conduct testing and commissioning of systems, either routinely or following maintenance work, to ensure full functionality and compliance.Adhere to all company procedures and marine safety regulations to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of workboat vessels.Maintain accurate records of system performance, defects, completed maintenance, and resource usage.To apply, call Kenna at TEXO ..... full job details .....
