Head of Software Engineering120,000 - 160,000 + Equity + Private Healthcare + Unlimited Annual LeaveThis is an excellent opportunity for a Head of Software Engineering with strong team management experience within a Series A start-up environment where you will play a key role in product development, laying the foundations for future developers to build upon.This company are a platform designed to simplify the hiring process for businesses and allow individuals to find flexible work opportunities. In this varied role you will be responsible for working closely with the CEO, CTO and Directors to help build a clear and strategic plan for future product development. This role will entail a split of both hands-on Flutter and Python mobile app development while simultaneously leading and mentoring a team of developers. Ensuring that projects stay within timeframes and maintaining a high level of quality are key aspects to the role that will help the business stay on track to over-achieve its targets and aspirations.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-performance teams within a Series A Start-up and be well adapted to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, while simultaneously having a very strong technical background, focusing on hands-on mobile development. In depth knowledge of Flutter (Dart)

or

Python (Django) across Full Stack development is required to support on product development when needed and assist in the upskill and mentoring of Junior Staff.
