Are you an experienced Engineering Manager ready to take ownership of an engineering function and make a real impact on site performance?

We''re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team within a busy manufacturing environment, driving reliability, efficiency and continuous improvement across the site.

The Role

• Lead, develop and support the engineering team
• Own the site''s planned preventative maintenance strategy
• Drive improvements in reliability, efficiency and productivity
• Support the team with breakdowns when required
• Manage engineering budgets and external contractors
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Work closely with Operations to maximise site performance
• Maintain high standards across quality, engineering and food safety

What We''re Looking For

• Proven experience in an Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager role
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
• Excellent fault-finding skills
• Good understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs
• Experience managing teams, contractors and budgets
• A proactive, hands-on approach to engineering and improvement
• Strong CMMS and computer skills
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent
