Engineering Manager

We''re partnering with a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering, maintenance and facilities operations within a highly regulated production environment.

This role could suit an experienced Engineering Supervisor or Team Leader who is ready for their first management position, or a hands-on engineering professional with strong technical expertise and leadership potential who wants to progress their career. Equally, experienced Engineering Managers looking for a new challenge in a purpose-driven industry are encouraged to apply.

You''ll play a key role in ensuring critical manufacturing equipment, cleanroom facilities and site infrastructure operate safely, reliably and efficiently, while leading a team focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What you''ll be doing:

• Leading and developing engineering and maintenance teams.
• Driving equipment reliability, uptime and preventative maintenance programmes.
• Supporting site compliance within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Managing engineering projects, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with production, quality and senior leadership teams.
• Ensuring facilities and utilities remain fit for purpose to support business growth.

What we''re looking for:

• Engineering leadership experience or a clear desire to step into a management role.
• Strong background in maintenance, engineering operations or facilities management.
• Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment such as pharmaceutical, medical device, food, chemical or similar.
• Cleanroom experience is essential.
• A hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
