      <description>Location: Trafford Park | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | My client is an engineering design consultancy working closely with a wide range of clients, across a number of disciplines within the UK rail and utilities industries.      Full time role from the Manchester Office with occasional site visits for which travel expenses will be paid.  Hybrid working possible when required provided agreed in advance.   Can be contract (outside IR35) or permanent role.     Responsibilities:   Direct and develop multi-disciplinary engineers, CAD technicians and graduates  Identify and implement appropriate, safe, efficient and value-engineered design solutions and communicate these to client and project teams  Act as Professional Head for design function  Guide design in compliance with relevant technical, professional and water company standards and approve design packages  Identify and implement appropriate software packages, and drive the use of BIM and 3D modelling where necessary  Manage production of design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements and are fully integrated  Review, interpret and brief standards, procedures and changes to them  Manage production of design deliverables within agreed timescales and hours and to forma...</description>
