Engineering Manager

who will drive the evolution of their best-in-class mobile app. You’ll manage and expand a team of talented engineers, ensure top-tier quality across features, and serve as the voice of the app in strategic business discussions.What you’ll do:Transition from contractors to an in-house model, while recruiting and onboarding 3 full-time React Native engineersLead team members through mentorship, performance reviews, and career developmentShape the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the appSet and uphold standards for code quality, testing, performance, and app reliabilityIntroduce effective monitoring and alerting to catch issues earlyCollaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to drive feature deliveryWhat we’re looking for:3+ years in a leadership role (e.g. Engineering Manager, Tech Lead) in mobile app developmentDeep hands-on experience with React Native, Expo, Zustand, React Query, and monitoring tools like SentryExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong grasp of mobile app architecture and testing best practicesDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experienceInterview ProcessIntro call with the Director of Engineering2 x 1-hour Interviews onsiteOfferThis is a chance to be part of a fast-moving, innovation-first company reshaping convenience retail.
