Our client is part of a group that has been established for almost 200 years and employs more than 5,500 staff globally and specialise in a range of bespoke heavier engineering and materials handling activities for a diverse range of applications. Due to the approaching retirement of a long-established and valued member of the team, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated Engineering Manager to be based out of their prestigious Leeds Office environment and covering other depots and offices as required. The Engineering Manager is responsible for the successful Design Office based in Leeds, leading and co-ordinating all engineering activities across the company, including mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines, with the role ensuring engineering solutions support business objectives, customer requirements, and regulatory standards, with the Engineering Manager providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight to deliver high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective engineering outcomes across projects, products, and services.
