Engineering Manager – MERN Stack- European union permanent residentsFully Remote – Up to €100kPearson Carter are currently working with an industry leading cyber security platform that are looking to expand their development team even further. This company have grown at a rapid rate over the last 12 months!They are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in cloud-native development and deep expertise across the MERN stack. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and product teams to lead the engineering function, drive delivery, and foster a culture of technical excellence.Get in touch if you’re ready to guide high-performing teams and play a critical role in shaping a scalable engineering organization.Responsibilities:Manage and lead a team of full-stack engineers working with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)

Oversee architectural decisions and technical direction

Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and delivery timelines

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and Design to execute on roadmap goals

Ensure robust, scalable cloud-native deployments using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes

Build and maintain a high-performance, growth-oriented engineering culture

Identify process improvements and optimize team workflows

Experience:Proven experience managing engineering teams in a product-led or SaaS environment

Strong background in the MERN stack and cloud-native development

Solid technical leadership with the ability to guide architectural decisions

Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes

Track record of successful delivery in fast-paced, agile environments

Passion for mentoring engineers and enabling career growth

Comfortable scaling engineering processes in teams of 50–500

LocationThis is a fully remote role.
