Working for a well established industrial manufacturing company.Client DetailsOur client is a well established industrial manufacturing company based in St Helens who are currently recruiting an Engineering ManagerDescription Manage a mixed discipline engineering team. Manage the Process Development department and provide trouble shooting, design, procurement, installation and commissioning of plant and equipment. Be proactive in site Health and Safety with focus on the Engineering aspects. This includes adherence to current health and safety legislation relevant to the type of equipment/process within the business area and extends in fulfilling forthcoming legislative requirements. Ensure all members of the maintenance team are engaged with Health and Safety and are able to contribute to improved performance. Plan, manage and supervise the daily functions provided by the Engineering department in ensuring the highest levels of machine availability and utilising the appropriate techniques of Total Preventative Maintenance. Monitor changes to both technology and regulation which may affect process, equipment or people related operations and be proactive in implementing improvements, working with external specialist or service providers. Make capital expenditure proposals in accordance with both short and long term safety, production, quality and engineering requirements and be responsible for cost estimating and resource management ..... full job details .....
