Engineering Manager Aerospace Manufacturing Opportunity to Step up Southampton Up to 62,000 MERITUS is excited to be working with a leading Aerospace Manufacturing business based in Southampton, they''re looking to appoint an Engineering Manager to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a Manufacturing Engineer or Mechanical Engineer looking to step up into an Engineering Management role, taking ownership of manufacturing processes and driving operational excellence.You will play a key role at the interface of engineering, quality, and production, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with AS9100 standards, while leading continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Main Responsibilities:Lead manufacturing engineering activities and support production operationsDevelop and maintain manufacturing route cards, work instructions, and process documentationTranslate engineering designs into robust, repeatable manufacturing processesSupport NPI, industrialisation, and process validation activitiesDrive improvements in OEE and support TPM initiativesEnsure compliance with AS9100, supporting audits, FAIR, and RRCA activities Required Skills and Experience:Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar within aerospace or regulated manufacturingProven ability or readiness to step into an Engineering Manager / leadership roleStrong knowledge of AS9100 and manufacturing process controlExperience with route cards, process ..... full job details .....
