Engineering Manager - Mechanical

OverviewCircular Resourcing are recruiting for an Engineering Manager (Mechanically Biased) to join a well-established consulting and engineering business providing energy efficiency/ decarbonisation services and solutions across the commercial real estate sector. They offer a range of decarbonisation and energy efficiency services within the building services / commercial real estate sectors and are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a technical engineering team and work closely with the Commercial Director to create solutions to increase market share for the business.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of MandE Design Engineers, supervising their project related activities.

Liaise with client stakeholders to develop bespoke solutions.

Development of client proposals in partnership with the Commercial Manager and Engineering Director.

Develop project, resource and budget plans with the PMO team.

Prioritise projects and resources to ensure the achievement of project deadlines.

Undertake the detailed surveying of buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities.

Prepare energy audit/review reports and recommendations.

Perform building analysis using simulation software.

Prepare GHG emissions reports.

Perform feasibility studies for renewable power and heat generation.

Create financial models for building services upgrade projects.

Overseeing building services upgrade and refurbishment projects with the PMO team.

Deliver ESOS assessments (training provided).

Conduct Non-Domestic EPCs up to Level 5 (training provided).
