Engineering Manager

We''re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team based in Suffolk. Location: SuffolkHours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. The Engineering Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all engineering activities within the Project. This position provides technical direction, ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations, and leads engineering teams in the planning, design, execution, and delivery of civil engineering projects. You''ll play a critical role in strategic decision-making, quality assurance, and risk management across projects. What will you be responsible for? As an Engineering Manager, you''ll be working within the engineering team, supporting them in delivering technical excellence across civil engineering projects. Your day to day will include: Providing technical leadership and oversight for civil engineering projects from concept through completion, Establishing and enforcing engineering standards, best practices, and quality control procedures, Managing delivery of contractor and temporary works design, reviewing and approving designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations, Guiding, mentoring, and developing project engineers and technical staff, Identifying technical risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
