Engineering Manager Location: Wrexham Salary: £60000 - £70000 + Benefits Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm The Opportunity This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer at a pivotal point in its journey. Following significant investment from its international parent company, the business has recently installed bespoke, state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment that has been purpose-built overseas. As these new production lines are commissioned, the Engineering Manager will play a key role in shaping the future of the engineering function. This isn''t a role for someone who simply keeps the plant running. The business is looking for a leader who can drive change, develop people and build a proactive engineering culture that supports future growth. The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the engineering function across a busy 24/7 manufacturing operation. You''ll have direct responsibility for an Engineering Supervisor and a team of approximately eight multi-skilled engineers, ensuring the department is equipped to support a modern, high-volume manufacturing environment. A key part of your role will be developing the capability of the team, coaching, mentoring and empowering engineers to take ownership of plant performance, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
