Engineering Manager

Industrious Recruitment are seeking a Engineering Manager for our client in Milton Keynes. To lead and manage the mechanical and electrical engineering functions across the business, ensuring all projects, maintenance, and compliance activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards. The MandE Engineering Manager will oversee a team of engineers and contractors, providing technical expertise, project management, and operational leadership. Key Responsibilities: Manage the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems. Lead a multidisciplinary team of MandE engineers, technicians, and external contractors. Oversee the delivery of capital projects, refurbishments, and service contracts. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including Health and Safety, Building Regulations, and environmental standards. Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures. Provide technical leadership and act as the subject matter expert for all MandE-related matters. Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate safety controls and procedures are implemented. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimise asset performance and minimise downtime. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.
