Engineering Manager

This organisation are working with cutting-edge technology in some of the most intense and challenging industries globally.

They're seeking an experienced engineering leader who has experience in manufacturing / production environments - ideally for complex electro-mechanical products.

You'll be leading a team of 8 of Manufacturing Engineers, to provide a high level of engineering support, at this world-class manufacturing facility near Middlesbrough.

Overseeing activities such as production support, servicing, commissioning and FAT, new product introduction (NPI), introducing new equipment and technologies, achieving departmental KPI's, etc.

Championing a culture of continuous improvement and constantly reviewing ways to improve quality and efficiency for the operation. Also leading on safety and compliance.

Salary is up to £65,000 depending on your skills and experience, with an excellent range of company benefits including generous holiday allowance, healthcare cover and enhanced sick pay.

Ideally you will be degree-level qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering subject e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing, etc. plus be trained in Lean / Six Sigma / Kaizen or similar methodology.
