Engineering Manager

Are you an experienced Engineering Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a team, shape engineering strategy and drive improvements across a fast-paced food manufacturing site? This is an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to take ownership of the Engineering function within an established food manufacturing business. You''ll play a key role in the site''s Senior Leadership Team, overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, equipment reliability, continuous improvement and engineering projects to ensure the operation runs efficiently. You''ll have responsibility for developing the Engineering team, managing budgets and driving the site''s engineering strategy, with a strong focus on improving equipment performance and availability. Working closely with Production and other departments, you''ll have the opportunity to influence site performance, implement improvements and develop a strong engineering culture. You will be responsible for, but not limited to: Leading and managing the Engineering department, providing technical direction and support across the site. Developing and implementing the engineering strategy in line with site objectives and KPIs. Overseeing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime. Managing engineering budgets, including maintenance, repairs, contractor services and project expenditure.
