Engineering Manager 70,000 - 75,000Sherborne Days Only (Mon-Fri)gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for an Engineering Manager to work at their facility based near SherbornePerformance ObjectivesThe Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the engineering function, providing technical leadership across the complete manufacturing process from assembly through to product release.The successful candidate will lead the site engineering team whilst supporting continuous improvement, manufacturing excellence and technical problem solving. They will work closely with Production, Quality and the Head of Application Engineering to ensure engineering projects are delivered on time whilst improving Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery performance.As the senior engineering representative on site, the Engineering Manager will ensure robust manufacturing processes, support customer requirements and develop the engineering team to achieve world-class aerospace manufacturing standards.Provide technical leadership across all manufacturing processes.Support recruitment, training and succession planning within Engineering.Provide technical support to production to resolve manufacturing issues.Develop and improve manufacturing processes across the complete production route.Lead process capability improvements to improve quality, throughput and productivity.Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives.Drive scrap reduction and process ..... full job details .....
