Role - Interim Engineering Manager
Duration - 3 months (plus)
Day rate - -550 (LTD)
Location - Middlesbrough
Background - Manufacturing (FMCG or Food ideal)

We''re looking for a hands-on Interim Engineering Manager to lead a busy food manufacturing site for an initial 3-month contract. This is a fast-paced role where your expertise will directly drive performance, reliability, and team effectiveness.

What you''ll be doing:
* Leading and supporting a 10-12 strong engineering & maintenance team
* Taking ownership of all plant ancillaries and site services
* Managing and enforcing permit systems to ensure safety and compliance
* Driving improvements through CMMS systems - including implementation and optimisation of CMMS System
* Boosting line performance, uptime, and efficiency
* Acting as a key link between production and engineering to keep operations running smoothly

What we''re looking for:
* Proven experience in a food manufacturing environment
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to quickly gain team trust
* Solid background in maintenance strategy, reliability, and continuous improvement
* Experience with CMMS implementation and management
* A proactive, no-nonsense approach - someone who delivers results from day one
