This £1.2 billion project includes the delivery of 43 bridges (including several large viaducts), 17km of complex highways construction, significant utility diversions, and an industry-leading approach to carbon reduction. The Role As Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering and design management, leadership, and control of a multi-disciplinary project team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring engineering excellence is delivered across all phases of this flagship programme. Key responsibilities include: Leading on engineering solution development across multiple disciplines to drive value engineering during the design phase. Ensuring buildability and safety reviews are embedded throughout design development. Overseeing integration of Temporary Works into scheme design. Providing technical support to commercial teams during procurement. Supporting quality compliance across specifications and standards. Contributing to programme progress reporting, both short and long-term. Continuously reviewing designs to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and cost savings.
