This business has invested heavily in the plant on automation upgrades, new production lines for a new product launch, and factory extensions for increased capacity.This company have incredible staff retention and pride themselves on being an inclusive employer that people enjoy working for.The Role: The engineering manager will lead and manage a small but experienced maintenance departmentElectrical and mechanical fault finding on complex machinery faults when requiredDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce machine down timeManage CAPEX projects, including equipment installations, plant upgrades, and expansions.Ensure compliance with food safety, BRC, health and safety, and environmental regulations.Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource utilisation.Purchase machine parts, orgaise stores Manage contractors and prepare RAMSFoster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance within the engineering team.
