Engineering / Maintenance Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Engineering/Maintenance Supervisor based in South Bedfordshire for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. Summary of the Engineering/Maintenance Supervisor role Salary: £55,000 Location: South Bedfordshire Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday Friday 37.5 hours 8.30am - 4.30pm Responsibilities of the Engineering/Maintenance Supervisor Direct and monitor all activities relating to manufacturing operations, equipment and processesSupervise the day-to-day activities of the site engineering teamPrepare RFE s/Capex s for engineering tools and equipmentOversee design and development of equipmentManage critical sparesInterview, train, develop and evaluate performance of engineering associatesManage total project activities with planned schedule for timely completionRecommend replacement of existing equipmentManage and present design proposalsEstablish priorities to ensure all machinery, equipment and facilities are in good, safe working condition Requirements for a successful Engineering/Maintenance Supervisor Experience in supervision and/or project leadershipTime-served Electrical/Mechanical engineerExcellent Electrical/mechanical aptitudeGood knowledge of health and safetyFlexible and pro-activeStrong organisational skills and ability to deal with multiple prioritiesGood communication skillsGood inter-personal and team working skillsExperience of engineering disciplinesIT literateExperience with CAD software About Allstaff ..... full job details .....
