Thrive SW are working with a leading Manufacturing business looking to recruit a Lead Engineer for their busy site in Gloucester, previous experience within a Manufacturing site is essential but not essentially from the food industry. As Engineering Lead for this site you will be responsible for: Leading and inspiring the engineering team. Developing and managing the engineering strategy. Ensuring the company assets are well maintained and serviced to ensure minimum downtime. Ensure the company meets its legal compliance for engineering standards. Project management of capex projects. Key Relationships: Site Manager and Engineering team. Directors and colleagues. Company suppliers and customers. Main Duties and Key Responsibilities: Provide clear and direct leadership of the engineering team. Write and implement an Engineering strategy. Improving Key engineering KPI''s - Breakdowns, job completion and expenditure. Schedule and control spend against agreed budgets. Ensure thorough site PPM program is in place, working towards the continuous improvement of this. Ensure that Limble is used to support and record all engineering activity on site.
