Engineering Lead - Digital Tools and Partnerships Up to 500 p/d (Inside IR35) Hybrid Working 6 months initiallyMy client is a leading consultancy seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to support the Digital Tools and Partnerships workstream within a large-scale enterprise transformation programme. You''ll be responsible for providing technical leadership across multiple engineering teams, driving engineering standards, overseeing complex integrations, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable cloud-native solutions.Job Responsibilities:Provide engineering leadership and technical oversight across multiple delivery teams.Define, implement, and enforce engineering standards, development processes, and architecture best practices.Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex engineering challenges and critical production issues.Support the design and delivery of enterprise integrations involving Sage and other business-critical systems.Guide implementation of scalable integration patterns across APIs, middleware, event-driven platforms, and external systems.Collaborate with architects, product teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.Drive best practices across software engineering, DevOps, observability, resiliency, and operational excellence.Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design assessments.Provide technical mentoring and hands-on guidance to engineering teams.Contribute directly to ..... full job details .....
