Engineering Head - Public Cloud Compute Services - DirectorJoin Citi''s Cloud Technology Services (CTS) team to transform Citi technology by leveraging game-changing Cloud capabilities to drive agility, efficiency, and innovation. As the Public Cloud Compute Services Engineering Head, you will shape and execute Citi''s public cloud strategy and lead a team delivering scalable compute services, including High Performance Compute (HPC) platforms, GenAI enablement at scale, and payments solutions.What You''ll Do

Lead the public cloud compute services strategy and execution, enabling Citi''s secure and enterprise-scale adoption of public cloud. Provide technical authority for all compute services.Build and inspire a team of deeply technical cloud specialists and full-stack software developers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.Identify and develop process improvements and automation initiatives to drive client satisfaction and business value.Establish partnerships across the broader Citi technology landscape to align with business growth initiatives and priorities.Define measurable success criteria and routinely assess service availability and reliability.Drive compliance with applicable standards, policies, and regulations, considering Citi''s reputation, clients, and assets.Who You Are

Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of public cloud services adoption at scale. Expert-level knowledge of AWS/GCP native compute services across:Kubernetes Container Platform – AWS EKS, GCP GKE, etc.Fleet Management Solutions – Rancher, Flux, ArgoCD, etc.Cloud Native Virtualisation – AWS EC2, GCP Compute Engine, AWS Image Builder, etc.Serverless Compute – AWS Lambda, GCP Functions, etc.Automation Prowess: Hands-on experience with modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.).Software Development Acumen: Software development background desirable, especially architecting or developing microservices using Java/Spring Boot to automate infrastructure deployment.Agile and DevOps Mindset: Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and SRE practices.Strategic Thinking: Ability to evaluate complex requirements and translate them into a coherent service offering.Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing a diverse, inclusive, high-performing Engineering team.Engineering Excellence: Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).We Offer
