Engineering Geologist - BristolSalary: £30,000 - £40,000Location: Bristol An established ground engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to join their growing team in Bristol. This is a varied role suited to an Engineering Geologist with experience across ground investigation and geotechnical projects who is looking to develop their technical and project management skills. The role will involve a good balance of site and office-based work, supporting projects from initial investigation through to reporting and interpretation. The Role: Planning and undertaking ground investigations, including site supervision and contractor management Logging soil and rock in accordance with relevant standards Groundwater monitoring and sampling Reviewing and interpreting factual ground investigation data Producing interpretative and factual ground investigation reports Geotechnical risk assessment and ground model development Supporting geotechnical design and engineering assessments Specification and supervision of intrusive investigations Liaising with clients, contractors and other engineering disciplines Working across a range of residential, commercial, infrastructure and development projects Requirements: Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a closely related subject Previous experience within ground investigation or engineering geology Practical experience of soil and/or rock logging Understanding of UK ground conditions and ground investigation ..... full job details .....
