Geotechnical Engineer Location: WolverhamptonSalary: 30,000 - 35,000About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a specialised geotechnical company in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a diverse range of ground investigation and geotechnical projects across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and development sectors.This role offers a balance of site-based and office-based responsibilities, providing involvement throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and supervising site investigations through to data interpretation, reporting, and client support.BenefitsCompetitive salary package.Generous annual leave allowance.Company pension scheme.Flexible and hybrid working options.Travel expenses covered for site-based work.Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake and supervise ground investigation works on a variety of sites.Oversee site activities, ensuring investigations are completed safely and to the required technical standards.Log soil and rock samples in accordance with current industry guidance and standards.Coordinate drilling contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.Interpret ground investigation data and prepare factual and interpretative reports.Assist in the assessment of geotechnical risks and provide foundation and earthworks recommendations.Support Phase I and Phase II site investigations where required.Monitor ..... full job details .....
