Engineering Geologist - BristolSalary: 30,000 - 40,000Location: BristolAn established ground engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to join their growing team in Bristol. This is a varied role suited to an Engineering Geologist with experience across ground investigation and geotechnical projects who is looking to develop their technical and project management skills.The role will involve a good balance of site and office-based work, supporting projects from initial investigation through to reporting and interpretation.The Role:Planning and undertaking ground investigations, including site supervision and contractor managementLogging soil and rock in accordance with relevant standardsGroundwater monitoring and samplingReviewing and interpreting factual ground investigation dataProducing interpretative and factual ground investigation reportsGeotechnical risk assessment and ground model developmentSupporting geotechnical design and engineering assessmentsSpecification and supervision of intrusive investigationsLiaising with clients, contractors and other engineering disciplinesWorking across a range of residential, commercial, infrastructure and development projectsRequirements:Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a closely related subjectPrevious experience within ground investigation or engineering geologyPractical experience of soil and/or rock loggingUnderstanding of UK ground conditions and ground investigation techniquesStrong ..... full job details .....
