Engineering GeologistSheffield 35,000 - 45,000A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit an Engineering Geologist to join their growing ground engineering team in Sheffield, working on a range of renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the UK.The role will involve a combination of site and office-based work, supporting projects across wind, solar, battery energy storage and associated infrastructure.The RolePlanning and supervising ground investigationsEngineering geological and geotechnical loggingSite supervision and contractor managementFactual and interpretative reportingGround model development and interpretationGeotechnical assessment of renewable energy developmentsSupporting foundation and earthworks assessmentsReviewing ground investigation data and laboratory resultsWorking closely with geotechnical, civil, environmental and energy specialistsLiaising with clients, contractors and other project stakeholdersRequirementsDegree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related subject2+ years'' relevant experience within ground investigation, engineering geology or geotechnical consultancyExperience with site investigation and geological loggingGood understanding of UK ground conditionsStrong report writing and technical skillsFull UK driving licenceThis is an excellent opportunity to join a large multidisciplinary consultancy and work on technically interesting projects within the rapidly growing renewable energy ..... full job details .....
