      <description>Location: Cumbernauld | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Our client, a leading aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organisation, is seeking an Engineering Fitter to join its engineering team at its Cumbernauld base. This permanent role supports aircraft line and base maintenance activities, with occasional work at other operating or temporary bases, including overnight stays where required.   Key Responsibilities:    Support line and base aircraft maintenance activities at Cumbernauld and other approved locations  Assist Certifying Engineers with aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with approved data, current regulations and industry best practice  Complete assigned engineering tasks safely, efficiently and in line with company policies, procedures and authorisations  Identify, document and accurately record aircraft defects following debriefs with operational crew members  Maintain the correct use, care and condition of tooling and support equipment  Carry out aircraft handling, refuelling, role changes and cleaning activities in support of operational requirements  Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment  Provide general engineering and operational support to the Engineering Department and wider busin...</description>
