Our client is seeking an Engineering Drawing Checker for a contract opportunity within the automotive engineering sector. The role will provide independent verification of engine component drawings and associated technical product documentation, ensuring that design intent, manufacturing requirements, GD&T principles and applicable engineering standards are clearly and accurately communicated. Key Responsibilities: Independently check engineering drawings for engine components before formal approval and release. Verify that fit, form and function requirements are appropriately documented. Identify drawing errors, inconsistencies and omissions, recommending corrective actions where required. Review assembly drawings, bill of materials structures and component relationships. Assess manufacturability, assembly requirements and technical risks during drawing reviews. Apply engineering drawing standards, GD&T requirements and manufacturing principles.
