We at JKR are recruiting for an Engineering Development Technician to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing company based in Westbury! Engineering Development Technician Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a practical, technically minded individual to work on the development, assembly and testing of complex electromechanical products. Working closely with Project Engineers, you will help turn new engineering designs into fully functioning prototypes, supporting projects from initial design through to manufacture and testing. The role offers plenty of variety, involving precision mechanical assembly, electrical and electronic systems, fault finding and practical problem solving. Engineering Development Technician Responsibilities: Review new engineering designs and provide practical input on assembly, functionality, component selection and testability Support the planning and preparation of prototype and development builds Carry out precision mechanical assembly using engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation Assemble, connect and test electrical and electronic components, including PCBs, sensors and wiring Inspect components and assemblies, identifying potential manufacturing, design or quality issues Carry out development, functional and acceptance testing using specialist test equipment and software Work alongside Project ..... full job details .....
