Engineering Delivery Manager (Electronics Hardware)

Expleo is a leading Global Engineering Services Provider with UK presence in 10 locations. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager to work with our client, hybrid attendance at Belfast. In this role the successful candidate will be managing engineering delivery teams working on cutting edge defence products.We are looking for an energetic and driven individual with broad expertise, however of particular interest would be candidates with aerospace or military experience.This role represents a great opportunity to work with a blue-chip client, contributing to the security of the UK and our allies. The Engineering Delivery Manager will perform, but not be limited to the following type of activities centred on the development and delivery of cutting-edge defence products:Oversee engineering delivery, ensuring projects remain on track and within budgetManage full V-lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practicesDevelop and maintain engineering plans, tracking progress and milestonesIdentify and mitigate project risks, minimising impact on deliverySolve problems proactively as they ariseSeek opportunities for project efficiency and improvementManage projects predominantly sitting in the Hardware domainStrong communication skills to work across boundaries and maintain stakeholder engagementAbility to remain level-headed under pressure, ensuring smooth project executionQualifications

Degree level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline. A lower qualification would be acceptable for example HNC/HND should the candidate be able to demonstrate significant demonstrable experience in lieuEssential skills

Strong understanding of the V-lifecycleDemonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects across multiple domainsExpertise in tracking project progress, managing risks, and maintaining budgetsEffective communicator with strong stakeholder management skillsAbility to problem-solve and proactively seek project improvementsExperience

Proven experience in engineering delivery managementPost graduate relevant work experienceAerospace experience but candidates with Military or other adjacencies experience may suit this role.Able to work across the full Engineering Development LifecycleWhat do I need before I apply
