This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy engineering team in a supervisory role, overseeing the day-to-day operation of a vehicle maintenance workshop. The successful candidate will support the Engineering and Workshop Management teams, ensuring engineering activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while providing leadership and guidance to workshop staff. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to engineering staff. Allocate planned and reactive maintenance work across the engineering team. Manage labour overtime within authorised limits. Carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and fault diagnosis as required. Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and company procedures. Maintain the engineering vehicle status board and daily workshop records. Liaise with the Operations team to coordinate vehicle changeovers and breakdowns, minimising vehicle downtime. Oversee vehicle cleaning, fuelling, oil checks, and parking activities when required.
