Engineering and Maintenance Manager Location: Tilbury Salary: Up to £78,324 + £4,694 Location Allowance + Up to 20% Bonus Contract: Permanent Start Date: July Site-Based Role The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering and Maintenance Manager to join a major energy and infrastructure organisation at a state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the long-term performance, availability, and reliability of a highly complex process plant, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and asset integrity. The Role Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will take full responsibility for the Engineering and Maintenance function on site, leading both direct and indirect teams. Key responsibilities include: Full ownership of plant availability, reliability, and maintenance strategy Leading and developing a multi-disciplinary engineering team Managing planned outages and unplanned shutdowns Responsibility for OPEX and lifecycle CAPEX budgets Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation Overseeing statutory inspections and ensuring full regulatory compliance (e.g. PSSR, LOLER) Driving effective use of CMMS and preventative maintenance systems Managing contractors, particularly during high-volume outage periods Working closely with operations to maximise plant throughput and efficiency Identifying and delivering continuous improvement and cost-saving ..... full job details .....
