What You''ll Do:
As an Engineer in V&V Events, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and delivery of vehicle validation activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Vehicle Readiness: Ensure vehicles are prepared and ready for validation events.
- In-Event Assessments: Lead assessments during events, driving lead vehicles, and identifying customer-relevant concerns.
- Detailed Planning: Develop and manage event itineraries and drive plans in collaboration with the technical team.
- Issue Tracking: Coordinate vehicle preparation, concern reporting, and validation of fixes for future assessments.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply a mindset focused on ongoing enhancements to processes and outcomes.
Who You Are:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Experience in system testing, validation, or verification engineering.
- Hands-on experience with dynamic and static vehicle testing, including familiarity with proving grounds and test protocols.
- Driving proficiency with a full UK driving licence and the ability to drive pre-production vehicles confidently.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering, diagnostics, calibration, and quality teams.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills to clearly communicate test results and validation outcomes.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. ideally
- Familiarity with vehicle systems (powertrain, chassis, ADAS, infotainment) and their interactions.
- Knowledge of test instrumentation and data logging tools.
- Experience with test planning tools like Excel or JIRA.
- German language skills are a plus but not essential!
