Engineer - Interior Door Trim (Contract)Location: Crewe (Hybrid - minimum 3 days onsite) Rate: £33.10 per hour PAYE Contract: ASAP - 31/03/2027 (potential extension) Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday Core Hours: 09:30-14:30 with flexibility around these hoursOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Interior Door Trim Engineer to support the design and development of door trim systems for a luxury automotive OEM. The role will involve taking components from concept through to production, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to deliver high-quality interior trim solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop interior door trim systems and components from concept through to production.Create and review component designs using CATIA V5.Produce and review engineering drawings and support release activities.Design and develop leather-wrapped interior trim components.Manage engineering activities with suppliers and external design partners.Lead and participate in cross-functional design reviews.Generate innovative engineering solutions to design challenges.Support test and validation planning and engineering sign-off activities.Ensure designs meet quality, timing, cost and regulatory requirements.Support programme delivery across multiple vehicle projects.Essential Skills andamp; ExperienceAutomotive product design and development experience.Proven experience designing interior trim systems, ideally door trim.Advanced working knowledge of CATIA V5.Experience ..... full job details .....
