Engineer - Datacenter Operations

  • 5 days/week on site in Citywest
  • €200/daily rate
  • 3 months contract (strong possibility to extend to 6 months)

You will work closely with two experienced engineers and will receive full documentation and hands-on guidance while becoming familiar with the environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical fundamentals who is keen to gain further exposure to data centre and infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support within the data centre environment

  • Perform basic debugging and troubleshooting across systems and network components

  • Assist with analysis and diagnosis of issues across multiple operating systems

  • Support Wi-Fi setup and connectivity troubleshooting

  • Work collaboratively with on-site engineers and other global teams to maintain system availability and stability

  • Follow established documentation and processes for system management and issue resolution

Technical Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including:

    • TCP/IP

    • VLANs

    • Routing & Switching

  • Familiarity with operating systems such as:

    • Linux

    • macOS

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with android and iOS a big plus (This can be taught to the right candidate)
  • Ability to work on-site as part of a small technical team

(Prior data centre experience is beneficial but not essential – training and documentation will be provided. No sponsorship available)
