Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to join a food manufacturing company based in Stevenage? You will be electrically bias and have experience of working within a food / FMCG environment. As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Offering a salary of 51,750 working a 4 on 4 off days and night shift pattern. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on production equipmentRespond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption to productionRepair and maintain the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic elements of the plantFault-find and resolve recurring machinery issuesSupport the development and improvement of planned maintenance systemsCarry out routine checks, lubrication and scheduled maintenanceEnsure machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standardWork closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues Ideal Candidate:Apprentice-trained Maintenance Engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalentStrong electrical and mechanical maintenance backgroundExperience working within a food manufacturing or FMCG environmentKnowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and drivesGood fault-finding and problem-solving skillsAble to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards If you are interested in this great ..... full job details .....
