Based at their state-of-the-art Research and Development Centre in Peterborough, this is a chance to work within a culture of autonomy and excellence, helping to develop the next generation of power solutions.Location: PeterboroughContract: 12-month contractPay Rate: 17.00 - 18.90 per hour Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Mon-Thu: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Fri: 8:00 am - 1:00 pmWorking within the Industrial Power Systems Division, you will support engineers in validating the performance and durability of engine components and systems. Your responsibilities will include:Operating test equipment and conducting investigations to obtain, analyse, and summarise critical data.Recording results through curves, charts, and sketches for inclusion in technical reports.Working directly with components and test rigs, including the use of hand/power tools and lifting equipment.Adhering to strict health and safety policies and maintaining a clean work area in line with 5S and TPM standards.Assisting with technical investigations for both current and future green energy product solutions.What You Will HaveBackground in fuel injection departments and engine component testing.Proficiency in laying strain gauges, soldering electronic components, instrumentation setup, and basic data ..... full job details .....
