Engine Technician - Team Leader
This hands-on role combines aircraft engine maintenance with the day-to-day leadership and operational coordination of a team of 12 Engine Technicians.Key Responsibilities:Carry out engine repairs, refurbishment, hot section inspections and line maintenance on Pratt and Whitney Canada aircraft engines.Lead and support the Engine Technician team, allocating and prioritising tasks while monitoring progress, quality and delivery schedules.Work closely with the MRO Engine Planner to ensure work scopes are prepared correctly and engines are completed and released on schedule.Manage engine projects from initial customer contact through to the preparation of commercial and technical reports.Check in, disassemble, inspect, clean and assemble engines in accordance with approved work scopes, technical data and regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate technical packs and work files, recording detailed work performed and completing engine release certificates where required.Support people management activities, including holiday requests, timesheet approval, return-to-work interviews and operational cover.Communicate with customers regarding work progress, technical requirements, cost estimates and any changes to agreed scopes.Job Requirements:Significant experience in aircraft maintenance, engine maintenance or an aerospace MRO environment.In-depth technical knowledge of Pratt and Whitney Canada engines and relevant regulatory and airworthiness requirements.Experience with Pratt and ..... full job details .....
