This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality engineering environment, focusing on the strip-down of rail engine assemblies and components in line with strict safety, quality, and production standards.You will become part of an experienced and supportive engineering team, playing a key role in preparing engines and components for inspection, overhaul, and rebuild within the rail sector. Key Responsibilities As an Engine Stripper, your duties will include: Stripping down rail engine assemblies and mechanical components in line with work instructionsWorking accurately to OEM manuals, engineering drawings, and technical documentationIdentifying, labelling, and segregating components during strip-down activitiesInspecting parts for damage, wear, or defects and reporting findings as requiredUsing hand tools and approved equipment safely and correctlyEnsuring all components are handled, stored, and protected correctlyAccurately completing job cards and associated documentationWorking closely with build, inspection, and logistics teams to support workflowWorking to production schedules and tight deadlinesDisposing of waste ..... full job details .....
