Engagement Officer (England East and South)

The role We''re seeking an Engagement Officer to join our inspirational Campaigns, Health Improvement and Policy team. You will play a crucial role in building and delivering our local engagement and influencing activity in local Health systems such as Cancer Alliances to support improvements in the diagnosis, treatment and care of pancreatic cancer. Working in our small but mighty Devolved Nations and Local Engagement Team, you will raise the profile of both pancreatic cancer and Pancreatic Cancer UK, with a focus on the East and South of England, acting as the local point of contact for the charity. You will represent Pancreatic Cancer UK at external meetings and events with the aim of influencing improvements in pancreatic cancer care. You will build relationships with health stakeholders in Cancer Alliances in the East and South of England, identifying opportunities to improve care and support wider influencing activity. Build and maintain relationships with wider networks across the health and the charity sectors which directly support people with pancreatic cancer, ensuring they are aware of and can signpost to our support and information services. About You You will have experience of representing an organisation externally at meetings. You will have a love of relationship management, including pro-actively developing and managing effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
